1. Tilt plate test:

• Friction coefficient test:
• Use a friction coefficient tester (such as British Standard BS 7976-2 or ASTM D1894) to measure the static friction coefficient and kinetic friction coefficient of the floor mat when it is in contact with a standard test shoe sole or a specific surface under standard conditions. A high coefficient of friction means better anti-slip properties.
• Wet slip test:
• Test the mat's slip resistance in wet conditions, simulating rain or water on the deck. Spray water or other liquid (such as glycerin) evenly on the mat, and then evaluate the standing stability and walking safety of the person on the mat.
• Actual usage simulation:
• In a safe and controlled environment, testers are invited to walk and run on wet and dry mats wearing different types of shoes (such as canvas shoes, rubber-soled shoes, leather shoes, etc.) to record slipping events or obtain subjective feedback.
• Dynamic anti-skid test:
• Use a dynamic foot model testing machine to simulate a person's foot movements when walking or suddenly changing direction, and evaluate the anti-slip performance of floor mats under dynamic conditions.
• Long-term weather resistance test:
• Examine the changes in anti-slip properties of floor mats after being exposed to outdoor environments for a long time (including ultraviolet radiation, temperature changes, moisture, etc.), which usually requires longer periods of observation and periodic performance testing.
